Something got into my mind when I was a young teenager. That something was working out and being physically active. Doing something almost every day for some 40+ years has served me well. My knees don’t permit me to run any more. Oddly, my knee problem stems from my 8th grade skateboarding accident on Adams Avenue (San Diego) when I landed hard on my kneecap. Thankfully, I can still walk, swim, and ride my bike.
